NY Times Halo Reach review: Good Game, No Tunnels
When Seth Schiesel at the New York Times reviewed Bungie’s Halo 3: ODST last year, he concluded it wasn’t worth the money. Dig a little deeper and it seems he focused on single-player mode, and didn’t really pay much attention to multiplayer.
The NYT just posted his new review of Halo Reach for the Xbox 360. Multiplayer mode is still an afterthought, but it appears he’s more satisfied with the single-player game play, and claims he’s finally a fan.
Just don’t mention tunnels to him:
“If there’s anything I can’t stand in flat-out combat shooters it is tunnels … Put me in a tunnel, shooting guys coming at me for more than a minute, and I start to frown.”
